Chicago                               Christmas Concert

I flew to Chicago for a quick two days to celebrate Christmas with my family.  It was fun seeing the nephews with their musical presents.

 

3 Twins & Celeste Krenz Christmas Show
Celeste Krenz & Bob Tyler hosted their Christmas Concert this year at the Mercury Cafe.  They also released the 3 Twins & Celeste Krenz Christmas CD with Bob Tyler and Rich Moore
Jennifer Smith & I joined Celeste and John Magnie onstage for a rendition of Tim O'Brien's "Making Plans".  I was honored to play Weissenborn on one of my favorite songwriter's with some of my favorite musicians

These are the guys brought my new CD to life.
Celeste & Jennifer - I spent the summer hanging out with Celeste, Jennifer, Bob and Sammy.
Scooter is the engineer at Sawtelle Studios which is located at Swallow Hill Music Association...  Possibly the home of my next CD.

Rich Moore...

Bass, Guitar and Slide player extraordinaire...

When I first moved to Colorado, I caught Rich Moore playing with Mollie O'Brien and Scott Nygard in Nederland.  I'll never forget when he put the bass down and started to fingerpick the guitar.  Whoa!.    

Then he started backing up Celeste Krenz and together with Bob and  they always have so much fun onstage.  I really wanted him to play on my new CD, but he was all booked up!  Scooter and Rich just finished his CD.  I didn't know he played slide until I heard it!  Please drop me an email if you want to purchase the new CD.
