Celeste
Krenz & Bob Tyler Moving On...
I've been
preparing myself for the day they would leave Denver for Nashville
since I started working on my CD with them. Their house was
up for sale through the entire project, but the time has come and
Swallow Hill Music hosted their final shows - Bob's CD Release
Party and Celeste with their picnic series at 4 Mile Historic
Park. These two (and Sammy) mean a whole lot to me and I'm
sad to see them go, but happy to see them moving on and know
they'll find continued success in Nashville. Please contact
me if you're interested in Bob's new CD - it's truly a uniquely
entertaining CD.

Bob's CD Release Party was hosted by Clay's
Swallow Hill Moonlight Lounge Series. He also had
special guest John Magnie jammin' on piano and accordian. |
|
Pat, who lived next door to Bob and
Celeste, hosted a final neighborhood goodbye
party. Everyone shared their stories of the life Bob,
Celeste and Sammy brought to the neighborhood, which only
represents a small piece of the community that they brought
to Denver with their music. |

Junction Gigs
Last month you saw pictures
of my trip to Europe. I stayed with my friend Maarten
and his family in Holland.
Well, Maarten was here in
Colorado and I couldn't help but get him onstage to sing
some Bob Marley with me!

With Bob Tyler
leaving, it was time I got Lolita back. Lolita is my
upright Kay Bass that Bob had kidnapped last year.
While we were playing a house
concert in Boulder, the crowd named her Lolita after one of
the songs on Bob's new CD.

Celebrating after the gig...
I also wanted to mention that one of my great musical
heroes, David Lindley, was surfing the web and found my site
and sent me a great email! Very cool stuff...

The Rockies
I finally got some time in the mountains. I had
family in for a week and we spent some time in Grand Lake
and Rocky Mountain National Park.
I also tried rockclimbing for the first time with my
niece and nephew. |
 |
I was pleasantly surprised everyday to see moose on my hikes.

The Colorado river was low, but still provided fish for my
visiting family members. |

Norman was also visiting from Canada and we had a wonderful
day in the mountains hiking to Isabella Lake. We
followed it with an enjoyable evening barbequing and
relaxing in front of the waterfall. |
