In May of 2001, I traveled to Italy and Greece for 3 weeks.   This included 2 days in Venice, a day in Florence, a week in Tuscany, 4 days in Rome, and a day trip to Pompei.

For the last 8 days, I first went to stay with the family of a friend in Trieste, Italy.  Then I spent 4 days on Santorini island in Greece, a day in Athens and then a night back in Rome before returning home.
