March 9th, 10th & 11th: Micah and Shawn from the band, Zebra
Junction, will be co-hosting this retreat. They will be coming off their
performance at PeaceJam as well as two
months of recording their debut CD. They will be bringing their digital studio
to the cabins in hopes to capture some spontaneous noises to finish off the
recordings. Musicians and music lovers are invited. We plan to relax, read
books, play board games, snowshoe and play music whenever it feels right!
Saturday late afternoon and evening will be set aside for acoustic jams.
Dwight has selected the Glen-Isle
Resort Lodge & Cabins in nearby Bailey - about an hour from
Denver. Dwight is holding three cabins - each can hold up to six people
and includes a kitchen and fireplace. Please contact Dwight as soon as
possible for accommodations. Directions: Drive
South(West) on Hampden/285 into the mountains towards Fairplay. Drive
through the town of Bailey, Colorado. As you leave the town, watch your
odometer - you will drive 1.7 miles until you see the lighted sign for
Glen-Isle Resort on the left. Follow signs to the office. |
